Down To Earth

Spring was all about  those warm and deliciously looking colours like caramel brown, egg whites, whipped creams, frosting whites and dark chocolat and toffee browns. These confectionary colours gave us a taste of what summer's palette was going to be about, a palette that allowed all skin tones to find their perfect match. Such gentle and neutral colours could seem boring to some but to the readers of Hypeed this seemed like the perfect occasion to bring out the accessoires and play with textures and shades, as our cover girl Dylana did to perfection. For this fashionista this neutral palette meant fun not dull, modern and fresh not old and boring.

Wrecked Stellar recalls spending a lot of her vacations in Native America growing up, and explains how these vacations have had some impact on her fashion sense. She loves this poncho which "reminds [her] of [her] fond childhood memories and the beautiful, storied culture at the center of them" and so do we. This look is just fun and very down to earth indeed.

The Pocahontas like fringe boots, the scarf and her slightly transparent flowy shirt paired with frayed denim short looks like the perfect ensemble to wear for an adventurous trip.

Becs says it best when she describes her pieces as "the perfect easy breezy pieces for summer".

Sarah looks like an urban explorer with her hat and khaki shorts! She manages to stay cool and comfy in the city while she wears the hot trend of the season, the denim jacket!

Here at hypeed, we fell instantly in love with Arielle Noa's dress, its colours, patern and shape are just perfect for this spring and summer, which is all about patterns and earthy colours. Pure perfection!

Now Sterling Style knows how to wear nudes colors, pastels and earth tones without it ever looking boring. Loving the softness of the lace top in contrast with the edginess of the black leather boots, such a nice balance.

These pictures were just magical and etherial but with a nice 'down to earth' feel to it. The gorgeous green feminin dress paired with the edgy black boots gives this dress a youthful vibe. The accessories add that extra playfulness to the whole outfit.

Kaitlin stays down to earth with her crochet skirt and her beige ensemble. The scarf adds a touch of wilderness that contrast with the softness that emanates from her.

Magali 's outfit would be so perfect for a summery pic nic ! We love that she's able to wear trends (the denim jacket is so hot right now), while she adapts it to her own feminine style.

Adenorah chooses to pair her neutral tone ensemble with a trendy sailor blouse and a cute bow (hey, she could totally have joined our new theme "Take a Bow" as well ) She said she needed a break from wearing all black outfits, and she suceeds in this twist of style !

Dylana explains "If there is one trend that is keeping me interested this fall, it is definitely neutrals." Dylana sure took the neutral out this stunning outfit. She puts it best when she says

"There is something fresh about this light and soft spectrum of colors that just screams spring. Neutrals are a clean palate that provides so many more options of styling than you may initially think".

Here, she perfectly mixes earth tones and textures and clearly has fun with her outfit.

Clogs are not an easy trend, but Ana manages to adapt them beautifully to her "Down to Earth" outfit. Earth tones are underlined by the pants and the scarf, held by the the very chic thin belt.

As a very chic urban adventurer, Carmen wears a beige carott pants with a coton grey blazer and a pearl necklace to balance the look.

Loving the grey and brown combo, not the colours you would first think about putting together, but Iconic Mouse's association actually really works. The grey gives this outfit a fresh take on the earthy tones that we have been seing around lately.

Charly gives us a perfect example of how accessories can really bring an outfit together. The 'overload' of gold bangles looks stunning paired with her simple outfit. This is also another great grey/brown colour combo.

Is Morgane going to a safari ? In her beige ensemble, she's choosing her next destination : kenya ? Her eyes are protected from the sun thanks to these great oversized shades, and she won't be sunburnt with this hat and pretty trench coat.
