Clothes could tell your own story, what you like, what you experienced and even what you support. Everything you wear sends a message. Express your mind and your style : your clothes have the power to ignite this little spark within each of us called conscience.

French innovative designers Marithé & François Girbaud have set the path of involvement through fashion, a long time ago. This year their new 2010 fall/winter collection comes with a revolutionary and eco-friendly technology : WATTWASH™.
The brilliant WATTWASH™ methods aim to replace the use of water by lasers during the fashionning and making process. "A 97.5% waterfree jean saves water and responds to the mainstream fashion trends", explains Marithé & François Girbaud.

How do you combine style and involvement ? A simple ribbon ? A T-shirt with a printed message ? A bag ? Accessories ? How do you proclaim in style what you believe in or what you fight for ?

The 'Spark of Activism' contest starts on February 11th and ends on March 5th. Winners will be announced on March 6th.

Participation guidelines:

Watch the WATTWASH™ video above and get inspired
Submit at least three pictures of yourself or someone you know whose style expresses ideas, committment to a cause or a lifestyle.
Wait for validation (it may take a few moment) then, comment your pictures. In this comment, briefly explain how these pictures express your commitment to a cause and what does the tagline 'Use Light. Save Water' mean to you.
Include at least one full-length photo (head to toe) and one close-up
