Me, Myself and... My blog
Can you introduce yourself and your blog?
My name is Olga I am from España and currently I'm working as a fashion adviser .
I opened my blog, O'Style, in May of 2009.
Basically it is about fashion in general and my personal style. It's the best way to express myself! It is not just the way you behave, the clothes speaks for yourself too. Beyond that, it is really important as well to know the dress code if you want to get something or to transmit a particular message to others.
How you dress says a lot of you.
My greatest satisfaction with my blog? No doubt, the people who visit it. Without them there’s no point in blogging!
What's your greatest satisfaction and frustration with O'Style?
Me, Myself &... HYPEED
I think is really interesting and a great opportunity to know other bloggers around the world in order to exchange different tastes, impressions and of course fashion.
What do you think of HYPEED?
I could suggest you a lot of baselines but at this very moment I can only think of “Feel real by fashion cultures” or “Fashion, express yourself”.
HYPEED uses the following baseline: "Fashion by real people".
Could you suggest another baseline?
Me, Myself &... Fashion
How would you describe your style?
I’d say that my style is a mix between classic and trend with a touch of urban style. But anyway I continually am drenching myself with new stuff to put in practise what I learn then.
What's (or who is) your current inspiration / obsession?
My current inspiration is everywhere, pictures, bloggers, landscapes, friends, magazines, movies, fashion editors, unkown people. I don’t agree when someone says : “I inspire myself”, that’s not true at all. Even if you are a creative person , every inspiration comes from somewhere, from a previous and conscious (sometimes unconscious) work. And to me the best way to be inspired is learning from the best.
Let's be a little bit nasty... what has been your worst fashion faux pas?
My worst fashion faux pas, well, to be honest, many! Still nowadays. But when I was younger I just thought: I like it, I wear it! Now I perfectly know my bodytype and what suits me better or look right on me. I try to boost the best parts of my body and hide the less attractive.
It's fashion war: Anna Wintour vs Carine Roitfeld. You'd be on the side of...
Carine Roitfeld, I love her.
Sure, that is like your letter of introduction. More than 60% of information we got from the other is visual so it is really important.
Last question... Does style matter?
