Military chic

Because the 2010 army style is all about luxury, its pieces are first and foremost eye-catching. In other words, the military style became military-chic. Going further than just a warrior look with cargo pockets and its army-like beret, the military-chic trend offers highly sophisticated garments and accessories. The 2009-2010 Paris/Moscou pre-collection by Chanel already proved both the magnificence and the classy strictness of the military-chic trend.

Not far from the ubiquitous navy trend, the military-chic must-have piece seems to be the tailored jacket with oversized brass buttons or even large shoulder pads made of jewels.

Featured HYPEED members, Vintage Lollipops and Morgane, wear it with a perfect outfit. Our cover girl Dylana also went for the typical military-chic jacket that is also nicely paired with ranger boots, still feminine though.

In this set of photos, our cover girl Dylana followed her own inspiration that also happens to meet this season's military trend.

Chicmuse 's original lace-up booties associated to a stunning fitted army coat make a unique military style. Special mention for the red lipstick and the aviator sunglasses that finish this very glam look.

As well as Dynala, Hypeed member Vintage Lolipops combined two essential military pieces: the decorated strict jacket and the combat boots. A feminine touch smartly emanates from the whole outfit thanks to the ornate blue jacket.

Adenorah brings a military twist to her girly outfit with her boots. she has found a great way to be rebellious and feminine !

Camille over the rainbow shows a slightly different aspect of the military-chic trend. The khaki military pants and the lace-up booties adds some strictness to her very feminine look.

For Lanton, the military-chic piece is just a little touch. Little but very powerful.

I immediately fell in love with the bullet belt. I apologize in advance if this belt offends anyone but by in no means do I promote war or any harm for that matter. This is merely just a fashion piece.

...To brighten the outfit up I did a big bow which is the next thing which I love this season. It's sweet and feminine. I tried to combine this sweetness with military style."

"I'm delighted with the military style. It a nice change for leather winter clothes, rather dark military jackets. Khaki is a good combination for spring and summer, I love everything in this colour...

Morgane, A.k.a. Leopard Legs looks officer chic with her military inspired trench coat.
