What Phoebe Philo calls "Contemporary Minimalism" consists in refined lines, neutral tones, comfortable garments, simplicity to its extreme. Whereas the world goes out of the Recession, these streamlined silhouettes could be a way to go back to basics. But Celine is not alone to adopt that chic simplicity: Giambattista Vali, Stella Mc Cartney, Dries Van Noten have also paved the way to a fashionwise minimalist winter. These collections convey a feeling of general anonymity, hinting that beauty and power come from the inside.
Show us your minimalist outfits! Trapeze skirts? White shirt with no jewels? A mix of leather and silk? A neutral palette? Or maybe a very chic and classic coat?
