Mixing Prints & Patterns

Dots with stripes, zebra prints with flowers, plaid with leopard... Mixing prints and patterns isn't always a fashion crime. But this mix-and-match approach of styles remains a risky way to disregard the traditional rules of fashion. Unexpected and eclectic, mixed prints and patterns will give a certain original touch to any style.

Mixing prints and patterns has also the great advantage to push you to reinvent your style with garments that you already possess. In other words, you will see your own closet in a brand new way. Mixing prints and patterns is a very fun trend that expresses your personality and creativity.

What kind of prints and patterns do you mix? How do you avoid a cluttered look or even the feared fashion 'faux-pas'? Do you have some tips on this particular trend?
