Summer Essentials: your favorite sunglasses!
Are you the kind of person who has a timeless pair, which matches every single outfit, or would you rather have a different pair for every occasion?
Every summer, there's a new must-have pair of sunglasses. While this season, it's indisputably the CAT-EYE sunglasses (which get a good deal in this fashion feature), we haven't forgotten our old favorites, like the wayfarers or the oversized ones!
Cats eyes, lost in burning red hair. Simply beautiful!

"I have this lazyness in the summer, when the weather becomes soooo hot, and I can't wear anything but shorts and tank tops, or plain loose dresses. Not very exciting, isn't it? So, what I like about sunglasses is that it's a way to stay fashionable and funky, even when it's too hot to wear real stylish clothes.
I had a real crush on the Alexander Wang x Linda Farrow sunglasses a few months ago; sadly I just can't afford 400$ sunnies... so when I found these Wang inspired cateye sunglasses for 8 euros at Ydeltuyt.nl, I just couldn't resist! They're my "statement sunglasses" for this summer, I have tons of different sunnies for each occasion, these will be perfect for beach parties and festivals, adding a funky twist to my boring outfits!"

"This season, cat-eye sunglasses were all over the runway. Designers like Sonia Rykiel, Marni, and Prada all showcased their own designs. But I completely fell in love with the pair from the Alexander Wang show. The sharp frames put a unique and edgier twist on the classic design. Now, I'm not the type too spend $300 on a pair of sunglasses, so when I found this similar design at Forever 21 for only $5.80, I was beyond thrilled!"

"I think Wayfarers in black or white goes with almost every outfit. white wayfarers are my favourite, but I have pair in black too."
"This is what a like to wear on a hot summer day. Some nice shorts, with a loose vest. To make the look complete I have to wear my favorite sunglasses. This sunglasses are the white wayfarer look-a-like. I have the glasses for a while now, but I still like the look of it!"

"Vintage sunglasses can turn the simpler outfit into something unique and very special.
I love wearing these because they have a round shape that reminds me of many amazing 60s singers: Janis Joplin and John Lennon above all."
Delmy chooses a very original pair of sunglasses: round and speckled, for a vintage look.

"I'm not usually one to be matchy-matchy with my wardrobe, but I love the way my glasses echo the deep forest green color of my shorts. I also like these sunglasses: they're a different take on the RayBan, being over-sized and coming in a variety of colors."
Strapless French Connection dress, a vintage chain purse, and the sunglasses from Urban Outfitters.
"I love these sunglasses because I feel like they're on trend with the whole clear Prada sunglasses movement, but they have darker lenses and I feel like they're a bit more wearable. Also, because they're such a unique colour in the sun, I feel like they really add something different to a lot of my outfits."

"I specifically like this pair because its round frame softens my face especially that i have a square face. It also sits a little higher on my face which draws the attention away from my strong jawline."
"My sunglasses are from Levi's and I changed the lenses to two tone prescription lenses, they are definitely my favourite as they are definitely cool and fun"

"As much as I would like to have Linda Farrow for A. Wang cat eye sunglasses, they go way over my budget. At least my 5 euro sunglasses can relate.
The waves of the shorts, print and shape gives me a perfect vintage vibe and therefore I combined it with a light destroyed denim jacket. To give everything a bit more edge I chose the retro sunglasses and these braided leather shoes... Mostly because they are unexpected in this combination but also because of the gorgeous height. You know what they say.. Expect the unexpected."
Round and with bows on the sidepieces, Pauline chooses a model resolutely girly!
"I wear these all the time because they instantly add a cool edge to my outfit, much like how Tom Cruise rocked them in Risky Business. Paired with my vintage 80's pink blazers, I feel so Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink, one of my favorite fashion inspiration movies."
