When the fashionably correct is enough, denim can add pep and coolness to your outfit.
Many HYPEED members have been beautifully inspired and their denim looks are very different from one to an other. It demonstrates how versatile the fabric is. Some adventurers fashionistas has even opted for a risky head-to-toe denim outfit like Chic Muse or Bea V, and it works! But this season, the must-have when it comes to denim seems to be the jacket or the shirt like our cover girl Fashion Clouds or Giia and Giselle C.
Spotted within designers collections such as Dolce&Gabanna, Banana Republic and Diesel, the denim trend is already in stores. Down-to-earth, it also represents a safe choice for any kind of shopper or any kind of budget!
Like in the middle of a 90's fashion wave, the denim is definitely reviving.
The double denim trend is one of those trends that has, until now, featured on the 'don't list' of fashion, right next to wearing simultaneously black and navy blue, mixing and matching different prints, wearing tights with open toes...
Well it sure looks like this year has been about taking what is not suppose to work and making it work and look amazing. The trick is to do it right! These are all trends, that if done wrong can go awfully bad. I quite like the idea of wearing one of the roughest materials and soften it up with a pair of great statement earrings and a bright clutch.

Versatile as much as it's androgynous, denim also adapts to men's looks
"I wore one of the must within the denim trend: a Levi’s jacket. I matched it with a simple white t-shirt in the typical style of 50s. Besides I added some vintage pieces like the sunglasses, the watch and the Versace foulard, other than H&M skull ring and necklace. The result is something simple but not featureless, given also by the setting: a long desolated street in a gloomy day."

This look was a challenge for me, I had seen double denims on the catwalk but couldnt get the 80's image of my dad in his matching jeans and jean jacket out of my head!
Double denim only works if the denims are different and separated by a rockin t-shirt. Accessories are important too, a hat makes any outfit work! Be brave and dare to double denim!
Because denim can also be glam and chic, Giia bet on a total grey outfit to highlight the denim pieces. Her amazing self-made shoes perfectly finish her look.
Johanna J. keeps it simple: she pairs her denim shirt with black skinny jeans and heels. The scarf in her hair adds that little something that finish the ensemble!

The total denim look can definitely give this retro style that is so fashionable. Meticulous and nicely inspired, Bea turns what can be seen as a redneck style into a trendy outfit.
Going back to the basics...
