The age of vintage

It's been a while now that it's fashionable to be... old fashioned! It's even very chic to claim, about this cute dress that we're wearing, "it's vintage!" (meaning: "you won't find it anywhere so you can't look like me even if you tried"). It's even truer since the Recession! Spending a fortune on clothes is not cool anymore. On the contrary, the cool attitude is to dress for nothing! At this game, some are real pros. They manage to find treasures in second hand stores for less than a movie ticket! Buying your clothes in a garage sale requires to be a bit creative, because you often have to customize the clothes so that they fit. So, is vintage made for everybody?

Show us your best vintage outfit!

Everyone is welcome to participate! Boys can rock the vintage suit look (or the grandpa cardigan!) and girls will look so cute in a vintage dress or old fashioned outfit!

This theme is scheduled for publication on August 16th. Contribute before August 11th!

Participation guidelines:

    •    Submit at least three pictures of yourself or someone you know.
    •    Include at least one full-length photo (head to toe).
    •    Add a comment about your outfit and tell us what you're wearing.
    •    Don't tag your photos with your name or blog url. Don't worry, we will add a link to your profile.
