The Clutch Bags Trends

Like most of our trends, the clutch bag is inspired from what celebs wear on the red carpet. But for once, and before it became fashionable, the clutch was first and foremost a practical way to bring some personal belongings on the red carpet. In other words, the clutch is a glam' accessory that also allows to stick to your indispensable smartphone and your favorite glittering lipstick.

From red carpet to department stores, the clutch bag has managed to seduce women of any style.

Once again, HYPEED's members expressed their fashion creativity through a variety of remarkable clutches. Different colors and textures, the clutch remains one of the most essential accessories able to add very simply a unique and feminine touch.

"Clutches and mini bags can be worn in any circumstance. They put some pep to any kind of outfit and represent the archetypal touch of feminity and glam. But, when too eccentric, clutches might be difficult to assume especially on daytime at work or school. But I don't really care, when I buy something, it's because I like it, not because it follows this or that trend..."

Mahayanna's classic outfit takes a brand new dimension with her lively clutch. Very classy and kind of baroque, the clutch smartly matches the rest of Mahayanna's accessories. All in all, it's the perfect way to brighten up any outfit.

It's all about details!

Camille masters the art of coordinating golden accessories in a casual-chic style. So trendy!

"My outfit is all about details. I wanted to break the very girly side of my lace dress by adding some rock'n roll and masculine accessories like my "50 Cents watch". But for me, the icing on the cake is definitely my glam clutch that matches my eye-catching watch. Until recently I would use the golden clutch for parties only, but it's now one of my favorite accessories because it gives a twist to any king of classical outfit."

Adenorah perfectly harmonizes her pieces to create a mixed rock'n roll and feminine style:

"I don't think the clutch is the very last trend when it comes to bags. I would bet more on women's briefcases. However I think the clutch will never go out of fashion. Even though clutches can be worn on the daytime, for me it's mainly adapted for nights out and parties. I wil never go shopping with a clutch because it's not practical enough but its elegance is undeniable."

According to Toni, clutches aren't dedicated to nights only because the embody a real extension of any outfit.

"I love clutches, but love them more when they have a little chain that can allow me to be hands free. I actually often have a clutch stashed away somewhere at the bottom of my handbags (which are generally very big and full of strange things). So, I wouldn't say my clutches have ever, and will ever, replace my more traditional handbags. This being said, they are a good, second option to have with you. It's always good to have options."

"My clutch can replace my traditional handbag when I go out. I find a clutch is essential in the evening. It's the perfect accessory to brighten up any outfit or add pizazz to your look. And it's much easier and prettier than lugging around a bigger bag. unfortunately i am one of those women that carries everything in their bag therefore my daytime bag is still a big hobo or satchel."

If you thought clutches were only for nights, then Clare will prove you the contrary with her joyful and trendy style :

"My traditional handbag can never be replace by a clutch, I have far too much "stuff" to carry around with me! My day handbags are huge! A clutch is the perfect bag for a night out and gives any outfit a little bit of 'sex and the city' chic! I love to brighten up a dark outfit with a bright clutch and shoes in the same colour (but they dont always have to match, its not a rule!)."

So chic !

Taupe trench and grey skinny jeans, Morgane cuts her classy and soft outfit with the warm colors of her ethnic leather clutch. The other accessories definitely matter as well since it emphasizes the clutch.
