about Uniqlo fashion brand
Uniqlo was created in 1984 by Tadashi Yanaï in Hiroshima, Japan, under the name of "Unique Clothing Warehouse". The brand offers casual clothing at affordable prices. In 1998, Uniqlo opened its first store in the trendy area of Harajuku, Tokyo. When the number of Uniqlo japanese stores reached 500, the brand decided to open stores all over the world, in Korea, United States, UK, France etc. In March 2009, Uniqlo worked with famous designer Jil Sanders, who created a line for the brand. Among celebrities who participated in their ad campaigns, Charlize Theron or Orlando Bloom were probably the most popular in France and the US. Nowadays, Uniqlo is known for its casual basics, its printed Tshirts, sold in small plastic boxes, and its affordable cashmere sweaters, availiable in every colors.
