My favourite series. Ever. Taken on a deserted beach in Paphos, Cyprus. A coptic gale blew mercilessly that day and everything billowed. Meaning that crazy people like us who decided to go to the beach had it to ourselves. Bought the dress the day before at an Indian shop in Nicossia-- typical of me to go to Cyprus and buy Indian stuff-- when we both excitedly picked this one out, bowled over by the peacock print. (And fast forward to today, I am regretting not buying MORE dresses pfft). Whilst packing for the trip I discovered this pair of earrings that I bought in April but forgot. Gladiators have pretty much been my only heel-less footwear, frantically grabbed in Sing before I came to Cam, in line with my "I won't spend more than S$10 for flats" philosophy. But I love gold, and I can't really be bothered what's bang-on-trend and what's relegated to the annals of fashion history because after all, they all follow cycles and following it doggedly is too tiring, eventually putting oneself in the gridlock of a pigeonhole. So the winds blew, the sun was setting, the waters were glistening-- the perfect backdrop for an elementally-inspired shoot. Wind, water, earth, fire. see http://devilishlypleasurable.blogspot.com/2010/08/gold-gladiators-in-coptic-gale.html for full set.
I took those picture in the only park we have here in Verona. I made this skirt from a little piece of linen I found at home. I'd like to have something blue to match with my white garments, 'cause it makes me feel like I'm always in Greece!
You can shop Vintage clothes at official website : no website for this brand, sorry :(
the word "vintage" is used to describe clothes (or any other object) dating back from the past (usually not after 1980). In fashion, vintage clothes can date back from different eras (from the 1900s to the 1980s), and each era has a particular style to it. It is now very fashionable to dress vintage, and there are a lot of vintage shops over the internet. Ebay or Etsy are probably the best known examples. High fashion brands even create new edition of their most famous piece of clothing from past seasons.
