Something is so special about the 50's retro look! Classic cars, Diners, ice cream sundaes, what is not to love? When I styled this outfit I couldn't help but smile. It just made me feel like I was back in time, back to a time where fashion was something to be proud of. Now a days a girl puts on a shirt and calls it a dress when clearly it isn't. Nothing beats dressing with some class and feeling like a million bucks! :)

Sometimes it all starts with an accessory. As did this ensemble. It began surprisingly with the socks. Then I dug out this pair of shorts, the space between the short edge and sock top seemed just right. The shoes came next, which led to the blue top to coordinate with the shoes. It felt like a hat day and as luck would have it I picked up this fedora yesterday with a red, white, and blue ribbon. Then I figured I might as well go all out. Threw on a red necklace, grabbed this fabulous vintage handbag, and added a blue belt with gold buckle (to compliment the gold accents of the handbag) to top it off. Voilà! Red, White and Blue.
